  I’m very late (14 years) writing this review! I came upon this review site accidentally and wanted to take a moment to share my experience. When my father passed away 14 years ago we didn’t know where to go and had no ties to any funeral home. It was suggested that we talk to Richard Johnson. I’m so glad we took that advice. Mr. Johnson was the first and only place we called. He treated my family, especially my mother, with such kindness and dignity it was as if he was a long time friend. There wasn’t a bit of salesman in his presentation or attitude and I felt so comfortable it took a huge burden from my shoulders. Many other funeral homes in this area have an uncomfortable and rushed feeling to them. On the evening of the service everything was beautiful and just what we would have wanted. I have no reason to think that things would be any different now and I wouldn’t hesitate to use or recommend his services in the future. It’s unfortunate that the parking situation is difficult. I hope that doesn’t deter anyone because the level of service is unlike anything I’ve seen since.

  I have dealt with this business for many years and have had above average servicing. Mr Johnson is extremely competent in his profession and has very, very superior mortuary skills. He is also personable and displays a strong empathetic attitude toward his clients. He is viewed locally with great respect and has innate personal dignity. Beyond the shadow of a doubt He comes highly recommended.
